Arthur Christmas 3D – A Slappy Bear Film Review

Hello Bear lovers, last night I had the chance to get to see Arthur Christmas in 3D with my human-owner at the Rhyl Apollo Cinema, just the type of film we need this time of year, one showing us how brilliant Santa really is ;)

Arthur Christmas Great For All Ages

Arthur Christmas

I do have to say that Arthur Christmas is a fun film, it’s great to see how Santa delivers our presents and how the Elf army helps Santa with getting the job done.

But even Santa (Jim Broadbent) or should I say Steve Christmas (Hugh Laurie), his son, can make a mistake and leave out one little girl from receiving her Christmas present, so then it’s up to Arthur Christmas (James McAvoy) with Grand Santa (Bill Nighy) to save Christmas and deliver the present.

It’s all good clean fun and for me I think Grand Santa certainly steals the scenes he is in, he really had me laughing on my booster seat ;)

I even spotted Shaun The Sheep at one point in the film, but I’m not telling you where ;) The animation was really good and the characters nicely done, the 3D wasn’t really the best in the world, but it did work and brought that extra dimension of fun to an already fun filled film.

Love Christmas, Then You’ll Love This

Even if you’re a bit of a Scrooge about Christmas then I think this film will even warm the cockles of your heart, so sit back and enjoy a really good happy Christmas film ;)

A bear with a love of everything groovy and great friend to fellow bears around the globe, if he likes it, then he'll blog about it!
