Marigolds On A Hot Sunny Day

Slapp Bear and the Marigolds

It’s been such a hot day today with temperatures hitting around 29c in the back garden, so I’ve been tending the Marigolds in the back garden and keeping them watered so they don’t dry up too much.

As you can see from the photo, they are a lovely colour and certainly brighten up the garden, well, when I say garden, it’s more of a rather large patio

Anyway, enough chatting, I’m off to laze around a bit more and have some nice ice-cold drinks with my human-owner, so ciao for now

Hey Slappy;

Looks like a wonderful way to spend a hot day. Did you spill any of that water on you that was meant for the Marigolds? Water splashes on a hot day always helps cool things off too.

I sure did spill water on myself, just to keep myself cool It’s not been as nice today though, we seem to have this weather that is great for one day and lousy for 3 or 4 days after, oh well, here’s to the next nice day

I see you are already doing well in the garden. That is some nice flowers you got there. It has been great weather in Denmark too today. Too bad I had to go to work, but still a nice day

Beautiful flowers Slappy, you certainly have a lovely spot to enjoy the view and keep cool. Splashing water on the stones will help to keep things cooler!
